How to Get Started on Memez.wtf (Beginner's Guide)

    Everything you need to go from zero to your first meme coin trade — or your first token launch — on Memez.wtf. No prior crypto experience assumed.

    Memez.wtf is a multi-chain memecoin launchpad and trading terminal.     Before you start

    • A phone or a laptop — Memez.wtf runs great in your browser and inside the OKX Wallet mobile app.
    • An email for your Memez.wtf account.
    • A little starting capital — $10–20 is enough to place your first Solana or Base trade.
    • Somewhere safe to write down a seed phrase — paper, ideally two copies.

    Step 1 — Create your Memez.wtf account

    1. Go to memez.wtf.
    2. Tap Sign Up and enter your email plus a password.
    3. Confirm the verification email that lands in your inbox.
    4. Sign in. You'll land on the home feed.

    The account is free. It's what unlocks XP, rewards, watchlists, referral earnings and the social feed — you can browse without it, but you'll need it to trade.

    Your account also gives you a referral link. Referrals pay on two levels: you earn 5% of the platform fees from every trade your direct referrals make, plus 2% from every trade made by anyone they refer — forever, paid in native currency.

    Step 2 — Install OKX Wallet

    Memez.wtf uses OKX Wallet as the single supported wallet. One wallet, every chain — Solana, Ethereum, BNB, Base, GRAM and Robinhood Chain. You don't need a separate wallet per chain.

    On mobile

    1. Install OKX Wallet from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
    2. Open the app and tap Create Wallet.
    3. Write the 12-word seed phrase on paper. Not a screenshot. Not a notes app.
    4. Set a password / enable Face ID.

    On desktop

    1. Go to web3.okx.com and install the browser extension.
    2. Pick Create Wallet, write down the seed phrase, and set a password.

    Never share your seed phrase. No support person, no admin, no "airdrop verifier" will ever legitimately ask for it. If someone does, they're stealing your wallet.

    Step 3 — Connect OKX Wallet to Memez.wtf

    1. On Memez.wtf, tap the Connect Wallet button in the top-right.
    2. Pick OKX Wallet.
    3. Approve the connection prompt inside OKX Wallet.
    4. Your address and native balance now show in the top-right of the header.

    On mobile, tap Connect Wallet from inside the OKX Wallet in-app browser for the smoothest experience — deep links can't get lost that way.

    Step 4 — Fund your wallet

    Your wallet needs the native token of whichever chain you want to trade on:

    • Solana → SOL (cheapest, fastest — the best starting chain)
    • Base → ETH on Base (low fees, growing meme scene)
    • BNB Chain → BNB (low fees, huge Asia audience)
    • Ethereum → ETH (highest fees — mostly larger caps)
    • GRAM → GRAM (fast, Telegram-native)
    • Robinhood Chain → RBH (low fees, mobile-native)

    Two easy ways to fund:

    • Buy on a centralized exchange (Coinbase, Binance, Kraken) and withdraw to your OKX Wallet address on the matching chain. Double-check the network — sending ETH on Solana loses the funds.
    • On-ramp inside OKX Wallet — tap Buy in the wallet and pay with a debit card or bank transfer. Slightly higher fees, way less friction.

    Always leave a little native token behind for gas. Don't send 100% of your SOL into one meme — you'll have nothing left to sell with.

    Step 5 — Pick a chain and find a token

    • Use the chain switcher in the top-right to pick Solana, Ethereum, BNB, Base, GRAM or Robinhood Chain.
    • Browse Discover for new launches.
    • Check Trending for tokens with momentum right now.
    • Use the Screener to filter by volume, holders, market cap.
    • Follow the Social Feed for community picks and live trade calls.

    Step 6 — Place your first trade

    1. Open the token page.
    2. Enter the amount you want to spend. Start small.
    3. Check price impact and slippage. Anything above ~3% impact on a tiny buy is a red flag.
    4. Tap Buy and approve the prompt in OKX Wallet.
    5. Wait for the on-chain confirmation — usually seconds on Solana / Base, a bit longer on Ethereum.

    Beginner mistakes to avoid

    • Chasing pumps. If the chart is already vertical, you're the exit liquidity.
    • Buying from a Telegram DM. Nobody DMs you a real gem.
    • Forgetting gas. Always keep a little native token in the wallet, or you can't sell.
